SHORT ANSWERS

Twelve questions, answered the way the contracts actually behave. The long version with worked numbers is on how it works.

what is this?
Trader Babies is a collection of 3,000 pixel NFTs on Robinhood Chain. You mint one by burning $TBABY, you stake it in the vault to earn a share of the ETH that lands there, and you can burn more $TBABY to permanently raise that NFT's share. Minting burns and powering up burns, the pool pays out in ETH.
what does it cost?
The mint price is $1.50 of $TBABY per baby. It is quoted in USD and paid in tokens: the contract holds a keeper-pushed USD price for $TBABY and works out the token amount at the moment you mint, so the dollar cost stays flat while the token amount moves with the price. One wallet can mint at most 20, you pay chain gas on top, and the mint page shows the exact token amount before you sign.
where do the tokens go?
Straight to 0x000000000000000000000000000000000000dEaD, in the same transaction as the mint. The contract never holds your $TBABY, the transfer goes from your wallet to the dead address as the payment itself, so there is no balance sitting in a contract for anyone to withdraw. A power-up burn works the same way.
do I need to stake to earn?
Yes. A baby sitting in your wallet earns nothing, the vault only pays out on NFTs that are staked in it. Staking moves the NFT into the vault contract and unstaking sends it back to you, and you can claim your ETH at any time without unstaking.
what is power?
Power is one NFT's weight in the pool: power(id) = baseWeight(id) + bonusPower(id), where baseWeight is 1, 2, 4 or 8 depending on the rarity tier fixed at mint, and bonusPower is floor(tokensBurned(id) / POWER_UNIT). Your payout is your staked power divided by all staked power, so it moves as other people stake, unstake and power up. Tokens burned per point, POWER_UNIT: not set yet.
is power permanent?
Bonus power is permanent and uncapped. It is stored against the token id, it is added when the burn lands, and there is no function anywhere that lowers it. Unstaking does not take it away, so you can pull a baby out of the vault and put it back later at the same power.
does power transfer if I sell?
Yes, it follows the NFT and not you. bonusPower is stored per token id, so whoever buys the baby gets its base weight plus every point that has been burned into that id, by you or by anyone else. You have to unstake before you can sell, because a staked baby is held by the vault contract and only unstake can move it.
what is in the pool and where does it come from?
The pool is ETH held by the vault contract, and it is paid every hour. The team's desk sends what its trading earns to the vault in plain ETH, every token the team has launched on Pons earns creator fees that can be routed in the same way, and the EIP-2981 royalty on secondary sales (700 bps, 7%) lands on top, plus any other ETH anyone sends through the fund path. The hourly send is an operation the team runs, not code: an hour that earned nothing pays nothing, royalties only arrive from marketplaces that choose to honour them, and the vault balance on chain is the number to trust.
what happens if nobody stakes?
ETH that arrives while nothing is staked is held by the vault as undistributed. It is not lost and it is not sent back, it waits. It folds into the pool once a staked position has been standing for a day, and then it is split by power across everyone staked at that moment. The delay is deliberate: without it one wallet could stake a single common baby, take the whole pile and unstake in the same transaction. If nobody ever stakes again, the ETH simply sits in the vault. There is no admin function that can get it out.
can you change the rules after deploy?
The economics cannot be changed. Max supply, max per wallet, the payment token address and POWER_UNIT are constructor arguments and immutable, the mint price is a constant, the rarity bytes are written once, and setVault is the switch that opens the mint and locks forever. What the owner keeps is the metadata base URI and the links, and the keeper pushes the $TBABY USD price, which is the number that decides how many tokens a mint burns.
what are the risks?
$TBABY can go to zero, and everything you burned is gone whether or not it does. Power is permanent but the pool is only ever as big as the revenue that arrives, so a large power number can still be a share of very little. The hourly pay depends on the desk and the fee routing actually running; if they stop, only royalties and direct sends remain, and no contract can force the next send. The contracts are hand written with no external libraries and can have bugs, marketplaces can decline to pay the royalty, and if the keeper price goes stale every mint reverts until it is pushed again.
what chain is this on?
Robinhood Chain, id 4663 (0x1237). You need ETH on that chain for gas, and $TBABY on that chain to mint or to power up. Connect wallet will offer to switch or add the network if your wallet is pointed somewhere else, and the chip beside it turns green only when the wallet actually reports the right chain.
